DALLAS — In honor of International Women’s Day and Women’s History Month, KFAA and MavsTV will have an all-female broadcast crew for the Mavericks' Women's Night game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Kylen Mills will serve as the play-by-play announcer alongside Raegan Pebley as the color commentator. Dana Larson will join them as a secondary analyst. Lesley McCaslin and Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman will be the talent on Mavs Centercourt for pregame, halftime and postgame coverage.
Mills is an award-winning sports broadcaster with more than a decade of experience, the Mavs said. She currently calls games as a play-by-play broadcaster, host and reporter for the Big Ten Network. She also calls college basketball for Fox and the CW, and is a host for Ion TV and a play-by-play broadcaster across CBS platforms for the National Women’s Soccer League.
Before that, Mills worked in the Bay Area with stops at the PAC-12 Network, NBC Sports Bay Area/California and KRON-TV, where she covered the Golden State Warriors.
Pebley is currently the Los Angeles Sparks General Manager, but used to serve as the color analyst on television broadcasts for the Dallas Wings and men's and women's college basketball. Pebley has 21 years of experience as a women's basketball coach at TCU, Fresno State and Utah State. Pebley also played in the WNBA as the 21st overall pick in the 1997 draft out of the University of Colorado. She played two seasons with the Cleveland Rockers and Utah Starzz.
Dana Larson and Lesley McCaslin both regularly contribute to Mavs coverage on KFAA and MavsTV.
